Coventry Rugby Club went top of the League One table with a home 30-27 victory over Bishops Stortford.
A crowd of 1703, saw Chris Smith go over for the visitors with Cullen converting in the second minute but three minutes later and Ben Stokes ran in a try to reduce the arrears.
George Cullen converted a 13th minute penalty for the visitors. However, four minutes later, Cov were in front when Tuitipou went over and Will Maisey converted.
Cullen kicked another penalty before Matoto scored with a 25th minute try that was converted by Maisey from long range.
Cullen kicked a third penalty but it was Cov who led 19-16 at half-time.
Ten minutes in and Rory Banks ran in a try for Bishops Stortford only for Maisey to convert a 58th minute and restore Cov’s lead which only lasted until Cullen kicked another penalty in the 62nd minute.
James Stokes ran in a wonderful try in the 67th minute which Maisey converted, only for yet another penalty which was converted by Cullen to tie things up in the 68th minute at 27-27.
It was a penalty that decided the match in the 74th minute and it went to Cov with Will Maisey kicking the ball over the bar and giving Cov their sixth straight win which sends them top of the table and three points clear.
