Late Defeat For Coventry Bears In South Wales

Coventry Bears Rugby League team were beaten 24-22 at South Wales Ironmen this afternoon.

Cov travelled to Merthyr and were 12-0 down at half-time and then went another four points down early in the second half.

Kieran Sherratt went over for Cov with Delaney converting to get Cov on the board and then Mike Russell ran in a try with Delaney again converting.

The home side kicked a penalty but Jack Morrison ran through to give Cov their third try which Delaney converted to level things up at 18-18.

Matt Reid ran in a try with six minutes left but in stoppage time, the home side ran in a try which was converted to send Cov to an unlucky defeat
