Coventry Rugby Club beat Hull Ionians 50-38 at the Butts Park Arena this afternoon.
A crowd of 1286 saw Cov go 21-3 up early on with Heath Stevens running in a try in the 11th minute which was converted.
Irvine ran in a try for the visitors, who then had two penalties and a try to go four points down to Cov at half-time.
Hull took the lead with a 48th minute try but Litchfield went over in the 53rd minute as did Heath Stevens an hour later.
Hull scored from a 72nd minute try and four minutes later, Pete White completed his hat-trick with a try which was followed by a penalty for either side as Cov won by twelve points.
