Coventry Blaze Lose In Over-Time

Coventry Blaze were beaten 4-3 in over-time by the Sheffield Steelers.

At the Sky Dome tonight, Coventry Blaze went a goal down on 12.14 through a Valdix tap in but quickly replied with goals from Matt Marquardt and Liam Stewart.

Sheffield equalised in the second period through Franzon on 23.50 but in the third period, Matt Marquardt scored his second goal, assisted by Brett Robinson with six minutes left.

After a fight between Liam Stewart and Coyle, O’Connor fired Sheffield level on 57.10 to send a thrilling game into over-time.

In over-time, Sheffield scored but at least the Blaze had a point.
