Stewart: We Played Well Enough To Get A Result

Coventry Blaze coach Danny Stewart felt his side played well enough to get a result in last night’s 3-1 defeat to Sheffield Steelers in front of a crowd of 2,332 at the Sky Dome.

Stewart told the Blaze website: “I thought we played a hockey game where we played well enough to get a result, but we just couldn’t get that goal.

“We had some great looks and just couldn’t bury our chances.

“We had those three consecutive powerplays in the final period and we just didn’t execute and the game fell away.”
